Searching for organic cotton seat cushion

QUESTION:

I need a seat cushion for my hard wooden dining room chair. The braided wool pad I have doesn't give enough cushioning for me. My understanding is that non-organic cotton batting is loaded with pesticides and is worse than non-organic cotton fabric (which can be washed) so I am searching for a source of a seat cushion with organic cotton (or wool) filling. Janices makes cotton seat cushions but they are not organic. Does anyone know of a source of all-organic seat cushions?

DEBRA'S ANSWER:

Shepherd's Dream makes an organic wool and cotton Chair Pillow. It's on sale today 20% off.

White Lotus Home makes their own pillows in many sizes with different organic fillings. And if you don't find the size you are looking for, the would probably custom make it for you.

Debra :-)

COMMENTS:

If you want to make your own, Nearsea Naturals has all sorts of supplies (notions) and is a nice business to work with. Heart of Vermont also has some ready made options and sewing suppies. The wholesale section of the White Lotus Home site provides access to fillings for pillows.
Good luck
Jennifer

No, I don't want to make my own :). My sewing machine is broken and I don't have time anyway. But that's good info for others reading this that sew. I ordered the chair pillow from Shepherd's Dream as suggested, since I already have some wool pillows from there that I like.
