I can't believe that Thanksgiving will be here next week!

This issue has a lot of new information about cookware--read about my new cookware, an update on other nontoxic and eco-friendly cookware choices, and new cookware links on Debra's List.

And there are lots of great comments this week on my Green Living Q&A blog.

I'm off to make my own cranberry sauce with a natural sweetener...

AT HOME WITH DEBRA: My New Cookware (and Old Bakeware)

I've been receiving a lot of questions about cookware, so I thought I would do a show-and-tell of the cookware I use, including some new cookware I just purchased in the last month. If you are looking for a turkey roasting pan without a non-stick finish, come see mine. And if you want new cookware for yourself, take a look to see what to ask for for holiday gifts.

My new (and old) cookware and bakeware...

I got carried away with cookware and bakeware links this week. See them all at Debra's List: Food: Cookware.

CORRECTION
Armstrong Vinyl Composition Tile. Armstrong contacted me about an error in my description of the ingredients in their composition tile. It's actually made from 85% limestone (an abundant natural resource), recycled content and vinyl. It qualifies for LEED green building credits in several categories, including recycled content and low-emitting resilient flooring.

Christmas Trees and Other Holiday Decorations

About this time of year I start getting requests for natural and organic holiday decorations. I have some I'll be posting next week, but if you know of local sources for organic Christmas trees and wreaths, or you'd like to post ways you've decorated your home for the holidays using natural materials, this is the place.

I always like to wait until after Thanksgiving to start on Christmas, but I know many of you are already thinking about this...

Non-toxic Bathtubs

Debra,

Thanks for the great information on your blog!

We are planning to remodel parts of our bathroom, such as using porcelain tile on the floors and inside the shower. We are trying to find out which bathtubs are the least toxic. The old acrylic tub that we've had for 15 years looks awful, and I would like to know if cast iron or porcelain on steel are the best bets. Thank you!
